Senior Megan Burditt came into the game on Tuesday, December 4th, having scored just 9 points for the ADM Tigers in 3 games, all away from home.  Maybe it was the crowd or the home cooking that sparked Burditt, who put up a team-high 15 points off the bench in the victory over Carlisle, but when asked what the difference was, Burditt passed the credit back to her teammates.  “I’m sure it was my teammates, because they relax me a lot,” Burditt stated.

Burditt was one of three ADM players to reach double digits on Tuesday night, as both freshman Brianna Mueller and senior Abrianna Grapp both put up 14 points on the night.  Burditt noted that after suffering their first defeat of the season last week, there was even more focus on Tuesday’s game to get back on course.  “We just came from a loss from Pella, so we were trying to get back in it,” Burditt explained.  “And coach Watson said that ‘You gotta come out and prove yourself.’  I think that’s what we did.”

Burditt and the girls’ team will try to make it four wins in five games on Friday, December 7th, as they travel to play Bondurant-Farrar.  The pre-game for that contest can be heard at 5:45 PM on 107.9, K-107, with the tip-off at 6 PM.
