The ADM boys’ basketball team let two early leads slip away in the first half and in the second half Bondurant-Farrar pulled away to coast to a 66-47 victory Friday, December 7th, in Bondurant.  It was just a one-point game after the first and second quarters ended and the Blue Jays led 28-27 at halftime despite shooting just 2 of 12 from the free throw line and ADM being near perfect with just one miss in 13 attempts from the stripe in the first 16 minutes.  Bondurant-Farrar pulled away in the 3rd quarter by outscoring ADM 21 to 11 in the stanza and the 4th quarter never saw ADM get back into the game.

Logan Little buried back-to-back 3-pointers in the 3rd quarter that really created separation for the first time in Bondurant-Farrar’s favor and Josh Block had all 9 of his points in the second half to help the Blue Jays come away with the win.  Ben Larson led all scorers with 19 points in the losing effort but the only other Tiger with more than 4 points was Logan Essy, whose 11 points included 7 free throws and two late field goals.  For Bondurant-Farrar Little led the way with 16 points, Sam Duffy had 10 points despite going 0 for 6 from the free throw line and Grant Klinefelter tied Block for third on the team with 9 points.

ADM fell to 1-4 on the season, 1-1 in Raccoon River Conference play, and their next test is another road game in Boone Tuesday, December 11th, following the girls’ game on 107.9, K-107.
