The ADM boys’ team struggled to contain the big three from Carroll as the host Tigers pulled away to a 67-42 victory on Tuesday, December 11th.  Coming into the game Carroll leaned heavily on Addison Ross, Cody Netusil, and Eli Cleveland who were the only Carroll Tigers averaging in double-digits, and the trio scored 19, 15, and 11 to lead Carroll over the visiting ADM squad.

ADM’s leading scorer Ben Larson again led his team in scoring with 16 points but found himself in foul trouble committing two fouls in the first four minutes of the game, and that forced head coach Aaron Mager’s hand and caused ADM to play a good portion of the first half without their biggest playmaker.  Senior Bryan Jordan off the bench was the only player other than Larson to hit multiple field goals for in the first half for ADM and the Tigers found themselves going into the locker room down 36-20, a lead they were not able to threaten to come back from.

Logan Essy picked up his game offensively in the second half to finish the game with 10 points, 8 in the second half, and junior Grant Goeden was tied with Jordan for third on the team with 4 points on the night.

ADM is now 1-5 on the season, 1-2 in Raccoon River Conference action, though they head back to Adel Friday, December 14th, where they picked up their lone win of the season.  They host Boone and that game can be heard on 107.9, K-107, following the girls’ game.
