Funeral services for Douglas Gayle Matthews, 55, of Jefferson will be held Saturday, December 15^th, at 10 AM at Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson.  Visitation will be held after 12 PM on Friday, December 14^th, at the funeral home where family will be present from 5 to 8 PM.  Surviving are his mother Gwen Matthews of Charles City, brother James Matthews of Yakima, WA, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Memorials in Doug’s name may be sent to his family.  Online condolences may be left at www.hastingsfh.com.
