The Greene County Rams have wrestled their way to 13 straight Heart of Iowa Activities Conference dual meet victories and are hoping to extend that winning streak to 15 in a row. The Rams are in action tonight (Thurs.) in Maxwell at 6 p.m. vs. CMB and Saydel (Des Moines). Coach Mark Sawhill’s team hasn’t lost a conference dual meet since the 2010-11 season and is 2-0 in the league this season and stands at 9-3 overall.

The Rams have been forfeiting three or four weights so far this season, but that number is expected to shrink to two or one as the season goes on. Undefeated Aaron Beaman could see his first action this season at 220 lbs. after being at 285 for the first two weeks of the season. The senior is 12-0 and has won every match by either fall or forfeit. The other undefeated Ram is junior Jeremy Scheuermann (Shar-min) at 145 lbs. He is also 12-0 on the season.
