The ADM Tigers wrestling team remained perfect on the season after sweeping a dual meet on Thursday, December 13th, defeating Carlisle 61-18 and beating Winterset by a score of 43-22.
Against Carlisle winning by fall were Trevor Harsh (113 lbs.) in 28 seconds, Jarrett Hopewell (126) in 1:25, Ryan Krugler (132) in 2:24, Dillon Rogers (152) 0:53, Sam Plagman (160) in 1:49, Darold Baker (195) in 3:28, and Dylan Nelson (220) in 1:26. Winning by decision was Bailey Betazza (120) 11-4, winning by major decision was Jordan Grove (182) 11-1 and winning by forfeit were Kyle Wilkerson (106) and Zach Johnston (138).
Justin Wong (145) lost to Chance Becker by fall in 3:59, Tate Jensen (170) lost to Damon Piatt by fall in 3:03 and Tristan Pitsenbarger (285) lost to Ben Burnett by fall in 2:22.
Winning by fall for ADM against Winterset were Trevor Harsh in 53 seconds, Ryan Krugler in 2:25, Justin Wong in 0:22, and Jordan Grove in 1:26. Coming away with victories by decision were Logan Wendt (126) 7-1 and Zach Johnston 5-3. Darold Baker won by major decision 15-2, Dylan Nelson won by sudden victory 5-3 and Sam Plagman won by forfeit.
Kyle Wilkerson lost to Britton Gibson by decision 6-5, Bailey Betazza lost to Mason Miller by major decision 16-3, Dillon Rogers lost to Zach Moss by fall 0:56, Tate Jensen lost to Eli Cox by fall in 4:00, and Tristan Pitsenbarger lost to Cort Lauer by decision 7-3.
The next ADM meet will be on Thursday, January 3rd, when they travel to take on Dallas-Center Grimes.
