The Perry Bluejays split a non-conference double dual Tuesday night defeating Pella 48-27 and losing to Newton 58-21.    Seth Stetzel picked up a  pair of victories winning by forfeit and fall.  Jackson Van Kirk won two more matches as well, including wrestling up a weight class at 160 against Newton.  Sklyer Knoll also locked in two more victories by getting pins at 170 and 182.  Other Bluejays who picked up victories on the night included Ivan Garcia at 113, Jefferey Argueta at 132 and Cade Van Kirk.

The Bluejays will enjoy the holidays and return to action January 5th with the Jack Mendenhall Invitational in Ames beginning at 11 am.
