The ADM boys’ team also has to try to bounce back from a loss on Tuesday as they fell to Dallas Center-Grimes by a final score of 66-30.  Head coach Aaron Mager did feel there were a number of positives to focus on from the game against DC-G and talked about one such positive that unfortunately was not enough to overcome some of his team’s miscues.

“I thought the energy level for the most part was good, I think we can compete better though,” admitted Mager.  “I thought we had lapses.  I thought when they rattled us we didn’t handle that very well, we didn’t respond with a big basket or a stop.”

Mager felt that the team’s defense did a significantly better job against the Mustangs than the defense.  “We did a lot of things well; I thought we boxed out better, I thought we were in position to help each other, I thought we were pretty aggressive, especially early in each half,” said Mager before getting to the other half of the coin.  “Offensively we gotta trust what we’re trying to execute; I thought we dribbled too much, we went way out of our scheme.  We gotta stay more disciplined and execute what we’re trying to get done.”

The Tigers play their last game of the 2012 on Friday, December 21st, when they travel to Perry; the game can be heard after the girls’ game on 107.9, K-107.
