Mark Sawhill is the head coach of the Greene County High School wrestling program. The Rams are 13-4 in dual meets and 4-0 in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference action and the team is preparing for a strong January before the postseason begins on Feb. 2. Practices are being held in the wrestling room at the high school from 9 to 11 am. and the coach said he likes what he sees. “We had a good first half of the season and with a lineup change or two, I think we could be even stronger in the second half. We have some challenging teams on our schedule however, but that’s okay. We need to wrestle good competition.”

Next up for the Rams is the Jan. 5 Coon Rapids-Bayard Invitational in Coon Rapids.
