Mark Messerschmidt of Bouton was traveling west on 330th when he tried to brake going into a curve and slid into the path of a vehicle driven by Shawn Tolan of Boone. No injuries reported. Damage to Tolan’s vehicle estimated at $1500 and $5000 to Messerschmidt’s.

Kenneth Ary, age 29 of 221 E McKinnley #204, Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of driving under suspension.
Jennifer Lynn Liberty, age 39 of 1057 SE Delaware Ave., Apt. G, Ankeny was arrested in the 24000 block of Highway 141 for driving while revoked.
John Peyton Wilch, age 24 of 171 58th St., West Des Moines was arrested in the 23000 block of Highway 169 for OWI.
Courtney Jo Gymer, age 23 of 207 N Main St., Yale was arrested in the 24000 block of R22 for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and OWI.
