A deputy investigated a red dodge truck in the ditch near 290th Street on E Avenue.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies belonging to the JAAG Task Force conducted bar checks in all counties belonging to the task force. All of the bars in Greene County were compliant.

Saturday, December 29th

Adeputy investigated a vehicle fire in the 2000 block of Quest Avenue.

Fred Ayers, 80, of Carroll, put his truck in the ditch and it caught on fire. The truck was a total loss valued at 18,000 dollars. Jefferson Fire and Jamaica Fire responded and put the
fire out.

A deputy investigated a gray Chevy Camaro on the shoulder of the roadway at 140th Street and N Avenue.

A deputy investigated a personal injury accident in the 1300 block of 310th Street. Geraldine Augustus, 50, of Jefferson, lost control of her vehicle and rolled it onto its top in the north ditch. The estimated damage to the vehicle was valued at around 3,500 dollars. Geraldine Augustus was cited for failure to maintain control and failure to prove security against liability.

A deputy assisted the Ogden Police Department with locating Clay Paulsen, 16, of Grand Junction. Clay was reported as a runaway by his mother. The deputy located clay in the 2000 block of 180th Street.

A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 1600 block of 195th.

Sunday, December 30th

A deputy investigate a verbal domestic in the 800 block of Percival Street in Grand Junction. The male half of the domestic agreed to leave the residence.

Edward Raymond Bryson Jr., 55 of Jefferson was booked into the county jail for the charge of Public intoxication 1st offense. Edward was released with a court date.

A deputy investigated a rifle that was brought to the Greene County Law Enforcement Center by a rural Grand Junction resident. The rifle was found to be stolen out of the state of Tennessee.

A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 2100 block of P Avenue.

A deputy investigated a complaint of careless driving by two snowmobiles in the 700 block of Dudley Street in Churdan. They were not located.

A deputy investigated a abandoned 911 call from the 700 block of C Avenue. The owner of the residence stated everything was ok.
