The longest road trip of the basketball season awaits the Greene County Rams tonight when the girls and boys teams travel to Monroe to face PCM in a Heart of Iowa Activities Conference doubleheader. Both games can be heard tonight on KGRA, 98.9 FM, with pre-game starting at 5:45 p.m. The tipoff for the girls is at 6 p.m. with the boys’ game starting around 7:30 p.m.
The Rams are 8-5 in girls’ basketball while PCM is 6-6. Greene County won the first meeting by a 46-45 score in overtime, but the PCM boys won handily over the Rams the first time they met. PCM is 11-1 in boys’ basketball and ranked ninth in Class 2A. Greene County is 4-8 so far during the boys’ season.
