The Perry Elks Lodge held its annual Hoop Shoot Free Throw contest this past week at the Perry Middle School.  In the competition, the winners were

8 and 9 year old boys   Korbin Barck

8 and 9 year old girls    Jayna Kenney

10 and 11 year old boys Ben Sticka

10 and 11 year old girls Quinn Whiton

12 and 13 year old girls  Caley Hager

12 and 13 year old boys Tanner Duffy

The first place winners in each group advance to the District contest to be held at Storm Lake High School in Storm Lake on Saturday, Jan 19th where they will compete against lodge winners from Ames, Esterville, Jefferson, Sioux City and Storm Lake for a chance to advance to the state competition.  A total of 134 students participated in the Perry event.
