The Adel DeSoto Minburn school board will meet in regular session Monday evening.

Items on the agenda include approval of hiring an assistant soccer coach, approval of a tennis cooperative agreement with Waukee, approval of the foreign language trip to Guatemala and approval of the dropout prevention application.

Other items include setting a public hearing in regards to the early start calendar, approval of bus and transportation purchases and approval of the 2013-2014 high school course catalog.

Presentations from Project Lead the Way, information on the fiscal year 14 preliminary budget, an update on the Department of Education site visit and discussion on the upcoming school year calendar will finish off the meeting.

It takes place at 6pm in the ADM district board room in Adel.
