The Raccoon River Valley Trail Association has announced details on their sixth annual membership banquet and fundraiser.
The event takes place Saturday February 16th at the Lake Panorama National Resort and Conference Center, north of Panora.
The event is open to the public and a maximum of 300 tickets will be sold. The $40 admission includes a full banquet meal and the silent and live auctions. Radio personality Van Harden is the evening’s keynote speaker. All proceeds will go to support the work of the all-volunteer Raccoon River Valley Trail Association.
The association anticipates that 2013 will be the biggest year yet for the trail since the 33 mile north loop will be completed this spring, making it one of the longest paved trails in the U.S.
