From a coaching standpoint, sometimes the most difficult thing a team can do is try to regroup after losing a close game.  For the ADM boys’ basketball team, they’ll need to find a way to quickly forget the ending to their game against Carroll on Tuesday, January 22nd, that they led in all but the final 48 seconds of the second half before falling by a score of 56-54.  Eli Cleveland made two free throws for Carroll with 3.4 seconds left to give Carroll a two-point lead, yet the Tigers were able to work the ball down the court and had a chance to tie it as time expired, but when the shot wouldn’t fall, the moment felt deflating for the ADM fans in the gym.

Yet Aaron Mager’s team knows that the season rolls on and their next game has the possibility to go down to the wire as well.  When ADM played Boone last month it was a 4 point victory for the Tigers, but the home court advantage will go to the Toreadors this time around, so its anyone’s game on Friday, January 25th.

ADM has averaged just 47 points in their last two games and taking on Boone may be just what the team needs as they put up the 3rd most points they’ve scored this season the last time around when they won 65-61.  Logan Essy and Ben Larson each reached 20 points in the game and sophomore Jonathan Reel had a season-high 8 points in the contest.

The game will follow the girls game and tip-off should be around 7:30 PM with the call from Erick Zamora on 107.9, K-107.
