Memorial services for Brian Harpster will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery located near the community of Van Meter, Iowa  (Interstate 80, Exit 113).  Survivors include his wife, Catherine Harpster of Jefferson, IA; mother: Hazel Harpster of Council Bluffs; father: Douglas (Helen) Harpster of Halfway, MO; brothers: Bruce (Dilya) Harpster of Perry, IA; Todd (Flo) Harpster of New York City, NY; sister: Shannon (Joshua) Davis of Council Bluffs; son: Tyler Harpster of Forsythe, MO; six grandchildren; four step-children; and 2 brothers-in-law. Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home of Jefferson is assisting the family.
