It should be a dry day for the Bike Ride to Rippey this weekend, and a little more mild temperature wise.

The National Weather Service forecasts a partly sunny day with a high of 31 degrees and winds at about 8 to 10 miles per hour.

Chamber Executive Director Bob Wilson says the thing about BRR is it goes on regardless of the weather and there will always be people crazy enough to do it.

As of yesterday afternoon, Wilson says more than 380 people have pre-registered for the ride.  And if you’re not doing the ride, Wilson says please be careful and welcoming to the visitors.

Registration takes place from 8am until noon and Chuck Scheib will fire the cannon to kick off the event at 10:00.
