The Perry basketball team defeated Knoxville Friday night 73-31 in non conference girls basketball Friday night at the Perry Pavillion.  The Jayettes dominated from the start in ending a brief 2 game losing skid.   Perry led 23-6 after one quarter and 49-17 at the half.  The mercy rule and continuous clock went into effect at the 6 minute mark of the 3rd quarter.  Sophomore Claire Marburger and senior Frankie Eklund had big offensive nights.  Marburger went for a season high 32 points while Eklund scored 18 points.  Perry improves to 15-5 while Knoxville falls to 8-13.  The Jayettes will finish the regular season Tuesday night at Winterset and then get ready for the Regional Semifinal next Saturday night in Perry.
