A notice to Jefferson and Greene County residents.  All Greene County offices and Jefferson city offices will be closed on Monday, February 18th in observance of Presidents’ Day.

The Jefferson Public Library will be closed on Monday for the holiday as well.

The Greene County Community Center, State of Iowa offices, including the clerk of court will be open for normal business hours.

Starting on Monday, the garbage routes in Jefferson will be delayed one day.  That mean’s Monday’s route will be picked up on Tuesday, Tuesday’s route will be on Wednesday, Wednesday’s route will be moved to Thursday and Thursday’s route will be picked up on Friday.  Remember to have your garbage at curbside by 6am to ensure pick up.
