Looking for something fun and entertaining to do this weekend?  The Community Players of Greene County invites the public to its winter production of “Is There Life After 50?”

Director and longtime member of the community players Clay Ross describes what the play is about.

“Well its a play about these three couples that get together every year for a vacation and they trade off who chooses where they go.  And this year one of the ladies decides we’re going to a health spa.  They just don’t bother to tell their husbands before they get there.”

The cast includes some familiar names like John Schoening and Judy Mohler and for two individuals, Dustin Gustoff and Sara Nicholson, it will be their first show with the community players.  Ross says he likes the mix of backgrounds of the cast, especially having more experienced actors helping the new ones.

The cast and crew have been working and rehearsing “Is There Life After 50?”  for eight weeks and will have a three day performance schedule this weekend starting tonight.

The performance will be at the Greene County High School auditorium tonight and Saturday night at 7pm.  Tickets can be purchased at People’s Bank in Jefferson and Sunday’s performance is a matinee at 2pm and those tickets can be purchased at Home State Bank in Jefferson.  Tickets are $10 per person.
