Madison Sturgeon of Granger was traveling south on Highway 17 when she hit a patch of snow/ice and lost control leaving the roadway into the west ditch and struck a light pole. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $10,000.00.

Austin Whipple of Adel was traveling east on 258th when his vehicle went into the ditch. Whipple was taken to Mercy West Medical Center for treatment. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $8000.00.
Jason Dwayne Kingery, age 33 of 8602 Westown Pkwy #101, West Des Moines was arrested in the 30000 block of Highway 6 for OWI, possession of controlled substance and driving while suspended.

Cody Wayde Evans, age 29 of 3922 Indianapolis, Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of driving under suspension.
Bryan Jackson Leinbach, age 35 of 1707 Lucinda St., Perry was arrested in the 23000 block of Quinlan Ave., Dallas Center for public intoxication.
Michael Nelson of 32327 Post Hill Rd., Adel reported a theft from his mailbox.
