The annual Greene County Cattlemen’s Association banquet and trophy auction will be this Saturday.

A social hour will begin at 6pm at the Jefferson Elk’s Lodge, sponsored by Koster Grinding Incorporated and Koster Grain Incorporated with a ribeye steak dinner served at 6:30pm.

Following the meal will be a trophy auction and door prizes.

All funds raised at the event will go toward various projects supported by the Cattlemen’s Association throughout the year.  Some of the continual projects are 4-H and Youth activities and Heart Smart promotions.

Tickets for the banquet and trophy auction are available now at the Greene County Extension Office or from any director:  Mike Holden, Steve Kennedy, Doug Lawton, Dave Tipton, Tom Lawton, Pat Fields, Nick Crouse, Mike Ostendorf, Roger Rowles, Mick Towers or Tom Heun.  They will also be available at the door.  The public is invited to attend.
