A Committal Service for Jacob E. Eckhardt, 98, of Jefferson, formerly of Davenport, will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, at Davenport Memorial Park, 1022 East 39th Street, Davenport, Iowa 52807.
The family will greet friends from 5-7:00 pm Monday at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson, followed by a Service of Remembrance at 7:00 pm Monday at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home.
Survivors include Jacob’s wife, Anna Eckhardt of Jefferson, IA; granddaughter Christine (Finian) Kennedy of Atlanta, GA; three grandsons: Mark (Mavis) Sawhill of Jefferson, IA; Andrew (Denise) Sawhill of Winterset, IA and John (Amanda) Jeffery of Atlanta, GA; six great grandchildren; sons-in-law: John Sawhill of Winterset, IA and Harley Jeffery of Atlanta, GA; other relatives and friends.
