Services for Betty Pierce, 86, of Boone, formerly of Perry will be held Wednesday, at 10:00 a.m. at the Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone with Pastor Daniel Solomon officiating.

Interment will be in the Squire Boone Cemetery southeast of Boone.

Friends may call the Stark-Welin Chapel Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with the family present during that time to greet friends.  Visitation will continue at the Chapel on Wednesday morning from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Betty is survived by her daughter Karla Snyder and friend Chris Magnani of Boone; two grandsons Blaine and Tyler Snyder both of Boone; a sister Ruth Schwanebeck of Knoxville, IA; a brother John W. Palmer of Perry; and sisters-in-law Jean Pierce of Linden, IA; and Phyllis Pierce of Knoxville, IA; former son-in-law Scot Pierce of Boone; and many nieces and nephews.
