West Central Valley High School is hosting their first annual Career Fair on March 28 from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. in the high school gymnasium and is open to both students and to the public.

West Central Valley High School Alternative Coordinator Alpha Mendelson reports that they currently have 60 career fair participants from across Midwest Iowa signed up and are hoping for more.

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with a zookeeper, doctor, lawyer, dietician, social worker, drug abuse counselor, county sheriff, several representatives in the engineering field, brick layers, lawn care and landscaping experts and a host of other professions to find out what it takes to work in their specific fields.  In addition, representatives from area colleges and branches of the military will also be represented.

If you have any questions, or if you would like to be one of the participants, contact Alpha Mendelson at 515-523-1313.
