A deputy was advised that a vehicle on Neola Avenue and 330th Street was having mechanical problems and would be removed during the daylight hours of Thursday.

The Greene County Law Enforcement Center was advised of a vehicle in the ditch on 220th Street just west of C Avenue. Upon the deputies arrival he found a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier being driven by Kayla Marie Clay of Des Moines to be off the roadway. After speaking with Kayla Clay, the deputy had reasonable suspicion that she may be intoxicated. Ms. Clay agreed to field sobriety testing and was later arrested and transported to the Greene County Law Enforcement Center. Kayla Marie Clay was charged with OWI first offense, bribery and failure to maintain control.

A deputy was asked to check the location of dirt bikes being ridden in Scranton.

Two deputies were dispatched to 301 N 13th Street in Grand Junction for a reported domestic assault. Later in the evening deputies arrested Donald George Sayre of Jefferson for domestic assault abuse causing bodily injury. Don Sayre was held at the law enforcement center overnight.

A deputy was asked to check a vehicle on Highway 144 south of Rippey. The deputy was not able to locate the vehicle upon his arrival.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
