The Perry boys soccer team defeated Winterset in Madison County last night 4-1.  It was the conference opener for both teams.  Ivan Garcia led the Bluejay offense with 2 goals scoring at the 8 minute mark and again at the 56 minute mark, just 2 minutes after Winterset tied it up.  Pat Ferusca finished with 3 assists and Jason Mena and David Cardenas each scored a goal for Perry as well.  Bluejay coach Gary Overla was pleased with the play of Jeffrey Argueta, who he thought played his best game of the year.  Perry starts 1-0 in the RRC and will travel to Carlisle on Thursday for another road test.
