The Greene County Historical Society is kicking off their monthly events for the year in a big way in the small town of Cooper tomorrow.
The guest speaker is a Cooper native and Iowa Lottery CEO Terry Rich.
Greene County Historical Society Public Relations Chair Chuck Offenburger says Rich is one of the best known people in the county. To have Rich come back to his hometown of Cooper and talk about his tremendous career and how he learned the game of public relations is certainly a treat.
The public is invited to the free event at 1pm at the United Methodist Church in Cooper on Friday. A lunch will be served at noon for $8. Pre-registration is encouraged for the luncheon. A list of who to contact to register for the luncheon is provided below:
