A deputy was asked to check on a dog that may be abandoned within a house in Paton. The owner of the dog was located and advised to make sure the dog has proper care.

It was reported to a deputy that a vehicle in the area of the Angus curve in the southeastern part of Greene County may have dumped a dog from his vehicle. The driver of the truck and the owner of the dog were later located and the dog owner stated that he had just released the dog to run and exercise and then continued home.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
