The Greene County High School golf team lost to Carroll High on Friday in a pair of make-up meets. The Rams and Tigers were originally scheduled to play on April 1, but cold weather forced postponement until April 5.
The girls played at The Hill west of Grand Junction with Carroll winning 203-252. Medalist Megan Worley of Carroll shot 42 with Jill Pettitt, also of Carroll, the runner-up at 46. Lauren Stein and Kayla Mobley each shot 60 to lead Greene County.
The boys’ teams played at the Carroll Municipal Golf Course with the Tigers winning 162-185. Alex Gordon of Greene County shot 39 for the low score by a Ram while Blake Renwanz was next at 47.
