The Greene County Leadership Workshop continues tonight.

Greene County Extension Coordinator Michael Cooley says tonight’s session will be Leading Development in Greene County.  The featured speaker is ISU leadership and organizational development specialist Abbie Gaffey.

The topics that will be covered are working with volunteers, understanding community capitals and exploring opportunities.  Each session returns back to the first workshop when participants learned about different personality traits and this session continues that thought process.

Greene County Supervisor Dawn Rudolph describes what she’s benefited from the program.

“Well one thing that’s been nice is I’ve got to meet people throughout the county that I probably wouldn’t have the opportunity to meet.  We break up into small groups or do hands-on activities and those are fun and I’ve learned a lot from other people.”

Tonight’s workshop will be in the Churdan Community Center at 6pm.

There is one more session to makeup from a snow postponement from earlier in the year.  The last course will be Monday, April 22nd at the Rippey Community Center.
