The Perry Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for additional pledges to make this year’s fireworks display bigger and better than ever before.
Executive Director Bob Wilson says last week’s fireworks drive raised around $8,000 but they’re hoping donations will continue to come in.
“We’re a little lower than our goal, so we need your pledges still it’s not too late. If you didn’t make it come to the chamber office, mail us a pledge, whatever you want to do, there’s still opportunities. We have a few other ideas to generate a few more dollars coming around the bend” says Wilson.
All donations will go toward purchasing fireworks for Perry’s 4th of July celebration. For more information call the Chamber at 465-4601.
