Jefferson Park and Recreation will be hosting a Hershey Track and Field Meet on Tuesday, April 30.  This free event is for boys and girls 5-14 years old. The meet will take place at Linduska Field on the Greene County High School track, 101 Ram Drive.  Pre-registrations are appreciated; however meet registrations will begin at 4:30 pm at the track on the 30th.  The meet will begin at 5:00 pm.  A variety of events will be available for children to participate in depending on their age.  Participants in the 9-14 year old divisions will be eligible for the State Hershey Track and Field Meet on Saturday, June 15 in Marshalltown.  Participant’s age is determined by their age as of December 31, 2013.  Participants are asked to supply a copy of birth certificates, when registering.  Registration forms and more information on the meet are available at the Greene County Community Center.  For more information contact the GCCC at 386-3412 or email parkrec@netins.net.
