Several track and field athletes from the Raccoon Valley Radio Network have qualified for the upcoming Drake Relays. A varying number of high school athletes qualify for each event, from as few as eight in the 400 meter low hurdles to 80 4 x 100 meter relay units. Below is a list of area qualifiers for the April 25-26-27 Drake Relays.

Girls events-

Discus throw- Quinn Flack, Greene County

100 meter dash- Kari Dufoe, ADM (Adel)

800 m run- Haley Manning, Woodward-Granger

100 m hurdles- Dani Rice, Earlham

4 x 100 m relay- ADM, W-G, Dallas Center-Grimes

4 x 200 m relay- ADM, DC-G

4 x 400 m relay- ADM

Boys events-

Long jump- Will Whiton, Perry

High jump- Reece Iversen, DC-G

110 m high hurdles- Zach Rice, Earlham

4 x 100 m relay- ADM
