Other items the council approved was the agreement with Mark Bauer and Tri-County Lumber to demolish and rebuild the property at 500 South Maple Street, making the intersection at West Lincoln Way and Grimmell Road a permanent four-way stop and designating a four-way stop at the intersection of Chestnut and Harrison streets.

City Engineer John Milligan told the council that the ACC Overlay project with Fort Dodge asphalt will be completed within the next three weeks.  There is another $30,000 addition to the project to resurface the alleyway on the west side of City Hall and rebuild the gutters and sidewalks at Larry’s Restaurant and Lounge.
