The City of Panora has a lot of exciting events coming up this summer with the Market-to-
Market Relay, farmer’s market and Panorama Days.

Another event that the Panora Mayor Pat Parker will be involved in is the grand opening of the
bike loop in Perry, on June 1st.

The Market-to-Market Relay starts in Jefferson and runs along the Raccoon River Valley Trail to
Des Moines. 210 teams switch off every 2 – 6 miles in a relay fashion. The participants will go
by several communities along the western edge of Guthrie County.

Panora’s Farmer’s Market is typically held from July-August on Friday evenings on the town
square, and Mayor Parker encourages citizens to come support the local farmers.
