The Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library located in Guthrie Center will be hosting great new activities for adults and children alike.

Library Director, Pat Sleister invites residents to a showing of “Parental Guidance” this evening at the library at 7 p.m..

The kids summer reading program kicks off June 3rd  and will revolve the topic of dinosaurs and archaeology.

There are several services offered at the library including the usual public computers and inter-library loans but there are also some more unique opportunities such as musical performances.

“We had a grandson play for his grandmother who had not seen him play, it was beautiful” says Sleister.

The library is heating up and is ready to kick of their fun summer activities for the public and everyone is invited to come check it out.
