The Greene County High School boys’ golf team ended the 2013 season by finishing last in a Class 3A Sectional tournament at the Atlantic Country Club on May 10. The host Trojans won the 18-hole event with 295 strokes with Creston second at 300 and Winterset third at 314. All three teams advance to district play on May 17. Harlan was fourth at 317, followed by Carroll High 348, Denison-Schleswig 350, Glenwood 360, and 384 for Greene County.

The Rams were led by Alex Gordon and Caleb McKim at 92. Blake Renwanz shot 95 and Matthew Gordon was at 105. Coach Dave Destival reported the day began cool and cloudy, but the sun came out and the afternoon turned warm.
