Whether you have questions about how to help out with festivities this summer, where vendors will be set up or what roads will be closed for RAGBRAI… you can find out the answers at tonight’s town hall meeting in Perry.

Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bob Wilson says with 20,000 plus people coming to town, we’re all going to be affected and tonight will help explain how.

“We’re just gonna have a brief presentation from various committee members talking about the routes in town, the entertainment, the vendor situation, all the things that might impact you on July 22nd and 23rd” says Wilson.

Wilson says the main goal of RAGBRAI is to showcase all Perry has to offer and it will take everyone coming together to make it a success.

“We have to remember these people are on vacation so it’s our job as community members to show them a good time, and that’s what we’re gonna do.  So Wednesday night is your opportunity if you have questions, obviously if you have concerns, come out now.”

The meeting takes place at 7pm in the performing arts center at Perry High School and all community members are encouraged to attend.
