As times progress and things change, technology in our classrooms change as well.

At West Central Valley High School, technology instructor Deb Hymbaugh, says she places hours and hours of training into her teaching, always trying to stay up to date on the latest technology.

She says kids are coming into the classroom with more technology experience than ever before, “they are so much more engaged than they used to be, they basically grow up with technology.”

She puts in the countless hours of training to stay ahead of the curve and says at times it is difficult to not have the kids teach her, “I just started a 3-D animation class this year and it’s fun, but it is challenging to stay ahead of the students.”

She says technology plays a vital role in the education of the students at West Central Valley.
