James Douglas Young of 13630 Quinlan Ave., Bouton reported the theft of a stolen gun.

Roland Joiner of De Soto was traveling south on Highway 169 when he lost control of his vehicle and hit the guardrail on the side of the bridge, bounced off the wall and hit the east side of the bridge before coming to a stop. Joiner was transported to Methodist by the Dallas County EMS. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $10,000.00.
Kelly Maurice Thompson, age 48 of 110 South Hamilton St., Linden was arrested on a warrant for theft-possession of stolen property.
