A deputy was asked to investigate a possible harassment complaint in Churdan.

A deputy was dispatched to Grand Junction to help a juvenile male involved in a family dispute. The male was later transported to a juvenile detention center for care and evaluation.

A deputy checked an unoccupied vehicle in the 2100 block of Neola Avenue.

A deputy responded to a noise complaint in Grand Junction. Upon the deputy’s arrival to the basketball courts, the male subjects were not located.

Saturday, May 18th

A Grand Junction resident asked a deputy to pick up a box of either road flares or dynamite that the resident found while cleaning her basement.

A deputy helped with a funeral escort in Scranton.

A deputy was advised of a burglary to a business in the 200 block of East Main in Grand Junction. A theft investigation was initiated upon the deputy’s arrival.

A deputy was advised of criminal mischief to a mailbox in the 300 block of 125th Street.

Sunday, May 19th

A deputy received a barking dog complaint in Grand Junction. The deputy was not able to locate the dogs upon his arrival.

A deputy was advised of a burglary and theft of tools and possibly a few hogs from a building site in the 1900 block of M Avenue.

A deputy was asked to check the welfare of two dogs in Churdan.

A deputy checked the possible sighting of rotation in a wall cloud formation near N Avenue and 140

A deputy was dispatched to Churdan for a harassment complaint. The deputy subsequently arrested Kanika Jenny Koracan of Chanhassen, Minnesota, for public intoxication.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
