The Jefferson-Scranton and East Greene School Districts will again offer free summer lunch programs.
The Jefferson-Scranton free lunches will be served at the Jefferson-Scranton Elementary building at 401 East Russell Street in Jefferson. It will be from 11:30am-12:30pm Monday through Friday starting Monday, June 10th until Friday, August 2nd. Meals will not be served on the 4th of July. Lunches are free to anyone from 1-18 years old. Parents are invited to eat, but must pay $3.25.
The East Greene program will be from Monday June 3rd through Friday, July 26th. Meals will be served at the East Greene Elementary building in Grand Junction from 11am-12:30pm daily except on the 4th of July. It will be the same price for adults at $3.25 for a lunch. Everyone from 1-18 years old will be served a free meal.
Transportation for Jefferson-Scranton’s program will be available in Scranton and for East Greene’s there will be transportation in Dana and Rippey available.
