A reminder to all Jefferson and Greene County residents…

All county offices including those in the courthouse, the chamber of commerce and the community center are closed for Memorial Day.

City Hall and the Jefferson Public Library will also be closed in observance of Memorial Day.  Nothing is due to the library today.  The Jefferson Municipal Pool is open during normal business hours today.

The City of Jefferson would like to remind residents that garbage pickup will be delayed one day due to the holiday.  So today’s garbage route will be picked up tomorrow and the same delayed schedule throughout the rest of the week.
