practical farmersEach year the Practical Farmers of Iowa host field days all across the state.

The events take participants to farms across Iowa to showcase diverse farming, livestock, land management, farm business, on-farm energy and conservation practices.

Attendees are given the chance to network with their peers and provide the public with an opportunity to learn first-hand about agriculture in Iowa. The events feature discussions, tours, pasture walks, research and demonstration projects and a chance to enjoy local foods.

This summer, farmers will travel to Minburn for the Restoring Farmland for native Pollinators on August 3rd, along with stops in Greenfield for the Adair County Soil Health Day on June 26th and ISU Neely-Kinyon Research Farm Field Day August 20th.
