safe sitterLast week we told you Dallas County Hospital will once again be offering the Safe Sitter course this summer, but now young teens from several Dallas County communities will be able to attend the class right in their hometown.

Starting June 10th at the Woodward-Granger Middle School and followed by June 13th at the Adel Public Library, with both courses taking place from 9:30am-5pm.

The next week instructors will be at the Raccoon Valley Bank in Dallas Center Monday and the Dallas County Hospital on Friday, both from 9am-4:30pm.

The cost of the course is $5 which includes a handbook and boxed lunch.

It’s geared toward boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 15 and provides up-to-date hands-on practice in lifesaving techniques and how to care for children.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required.  To sign up call 465-7512 or visit the link posted in this story at RaccoonValleyRadio.com.
