With preparations starting yesterday for the annual Bell Tower Festival, there are some last minute reminders for the public.

Greene County Chamber Executive Director Ken Paxton says all four streets around the county courthouse will be closed today and tomorrow during the festival.  And the alley of North Wilson to Washington Street is closed for the beverage garden.

He also wants to remind people that the discounted ticket prices for the carnival rides and the Midway will be extended throughout the duration of the festival.

Other things for people to keep in mind is that you can purchase a Bell Tower Festival t-shirt with this year’s logo printed on it from the chamber for $10 adult sizes up to extra large and extended sizes will be $12.  Youth sizes are $8 per shirt.

Finally, event schedules are available at the chamber and during the festival, you can get a copy of the event schedule from the informational booth at the corner of the Hy-Vee Drug Store at the intersection of Lincoln Way and Wilson Street.
