The Perry Community School District board of education will hold their monthly meeting this evening.
Items on the agenda include a facility projects update, discussion on the Alert, Lockdown, Inform, County and Evade training and an update on the Iowa assessments.
General business items include approval of an agreement with 21st Century Rehab for sports medicine services, approval of board policy revisions in regards to debt management, approval of the tentative master contract agreements with the Perry Education Association and support staff.
Next the board will consider a $5,000 salary increase for Director of Technology Rich Nichols, approve the district’s intent to participate in the School Administrators of Iowa mentoring and induction program and approve summer wages for food service, PACES and school teachers.
Finally the board will approve bread and milk vendors for the upcoming school year along with personnel changes.
The meeting takes place at 6:30pm in the Brady Library at Perry High School.
