Bluejay Baseball Teams Wins 2 in a Row

Will Whiton was strong at the plate and on the mound in carrying Bluejays to a 5-4 victory over Saydel on Thursday at Perry.

Whiton got on base three times in the game for Bluejays. He singled in the first inning.

Saydel’s lineup had no answer for Cavan Finn or Whiton . Finn went 6 1/3 innings, allowing 4 runs off 6 hits and 1 walk. Finn struck out 3. Whiton held Saydel hitless over two-thirds of an inning, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one to earn the save.
